Nigerian-Canadian National Football League (NFL) star Israel Idonije was born in Lagos, Nigeria in the 80s, Israel plays defensive for the Detroit Lions and has been known for his relentless sportsmanship and dedication. In the issue he is referred to as the “Pro footballer with a golden heart” all due to his foundation; The Israel Idonije Foundation which he started in 2007 to give back to kids in North America and Africa.
