A man tried to smuggle a Thai woman in his suitcase at the Port of Nogales in Arizona. A photo released by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows the woman inside a suitcase in a smuggling attempt at the US-Mexico border.
Customs and Border Protection agents discovered the 48-year-old woman while inspecting a Honda SUV entering the United States on 30 December in Nogales.
She was hidden under clothing in the large suitcase in the back of the vehicle driven by the 56-year-old man from Phoenix.
Their names were not released as the man faces smuggling charges.

According to SDK, Yesterday Tuesday January 7,2014 at New Benin by Total fuel station in Benin City. Gov Adams Oshiomole and his entourage were passing by and as usual, he was on foot while his cars were on the move.
Some little children who were hawking saw him and took to their heels but a little girl hawking Plantain chips stood crippled with fear and unable to run.
As the Governor got to where the girl was standing, he looked at her, brought out his pen and wrote her a 1 million naira cheque.
Hopefully, the money is put to good use. I guess the governor learnt a lot from the 'Go and die' saga.

An Indonesian man whose body is covered by hundreds of tumours has made a final plea for help as the rare condition robs him of his sight.
Slamet, from East Java, is believed to be suffering from neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition which causes uncontrollable growths along the nerves. According to his brother Suwadi, the 59-year-old had a tumour removed from his waist in 1991. But six months later tumours began to form all over his face and body.

According to Ikechukwu, a pastor he asked for money instructed him to kill a young girl and obtain her faeces. He said the pastor promised him N100,000 if he was able to accomplish the task.

According to the Daily Mail, a grandmother who had her face chewed off by her dog can finally see again after 100 operations to restore her sight.
Grandmother Wendy Hamriding knocked herself unconscious when she fell down the stairs and woke in agony two hours later covered in blood.
Her dog Cassie, a Rhodesian Ridgeback cross, had desperately tried to rouse her - then became more frantic in its efforts.
